Romantic couple staring at each other in wooden dock

F.A.Q.s

What’s your approach on the wedding day?

The wedding day is a gathering of your closest friends and family, and we see it as a beautiful opportunity to capture the everyday moments, the genuine connections, and the way you interact with your loved ones — those sweet, timeless things that aren’t unique to this day but that you’ll want to remember forever.
A big part of our work is having the sensitivity to understand what truly matters to you — not just now, but especially in the future — and to document it through meaningful, beautiful images that can take you back in time.

Do we have to do some effort to look good on the camera?

During the day, we’ll do everything we can to make you feel comfortable. Don’t worry — we won’t ask you to do anything other than enjoy yourselves, have fun, and make the most of your wedding day.

What’s better for my wedding: One or two photographers/Videographers?

If you’re having fewer than 90 guests, we strongly recommend having just one photographer or videographer. We like to be part of the wedding, and we truly believe that with fewer professionals around, it’s easier to blend in, connect with people, and become part of the group. We focus our attention on the couple and their closest friends and family, so naturally, guests with a more distant connection to the couple may receive less focus.

If you’re expecting more than 150 guests, we recommend having a second photographer so we can capture more moments and interactions among your guests.

Do you take family and bridal party portraits?

Yes, we do. Usually, the bridesmaids or best man are responsible for organizing the list of groups to be photographed and helping us gather everyone. If you want to do a large group photo with all your guests, please let us know in advance so we can arrange the best time and place for it.

If you’re not interested in formal portraits, we highly recommend taking informal photos with just your closest family members.

How do you organize the timings and details for the wedding day? Do you shoot both the bride’s and groom’s preparations?

Less than a month before the wedding, we send you a form requesting all the details we need for the day, such as locations, schedules, contacts, and any special requests. We review this information and provide you with our feedback on how we plan to approach the wedding day, ensuring we cover all the major moments — including both the bride’s and groom’s preparations.

How do you choose the music for the videos? Can we suggest some?

We always pay close attention to the kind of music you play at your wedding so we can capture that specific mood in your videos. For certain scenes, we use some of the songs you’ve chosen for special moments, like the ceremony, first dance, or cake cutting. For other moments, we like to surprise you with carefully selected tracks that fit beautifully.

We really appreciate your musical suggestions and will definitely take them into consideration. However, to create the most amazing videos possible, we only use songs that perfectly match the mood of the film. You can trust us on that.

What’s an engagement session?

An engagement session is a one-hour photoshoot held before the wedding day at a cool location we choose together — somewhere that represents something meaningful to you. It could be a walk in a beautiful forest, having drinks at a bar, or anything that feels comfortable and truly expresses who you are.

Can we use photos from the engagement session for our wedding invitation cards?

Of course! After the session, we’ll send you some edited photos that you can use for your wedding invitations.

Will we have time to take some couple portraits during the wedding?

On the wedding day, we ask you to spend about 15 minutes with us at the venue to take some beautiful portraits, similar in style to the engagement session photos. We usually do this while you’re waiting for your guests to find their seats for dinner.

How long after the wedding do you deliver the photos and videos?

We send you 30 fully edited photos within the week following the wedding, so you can use them for “thank you” cards, share on social media, and more. For the full delivery, our contracted deadlines are up to 90 days for photos and 180 days for videos. However, depending on our workflow, these times may be shorter. Since we aim to create timeless memories, we don’t rush the editing process.

I hate posed photos, is that a problem?

Absolutely not! We want you to have fun and enjoy the day. We know how to make you feel comfortable while capturing amazing, natural shots. Trust us!😉

Do you use drones?

We always aim to deliver the best memories possible, and aerial shots can be an exciting way to showcase the wedding location. However, during quiet and intimate moments—such as the ceremony—we don’t fly drones, mainly because they are noisy and these moments are best captured up close to preserve the emotions.

Would you travel outside Portugal do shoot a wedding?

Yes, absolutely! We often travel to shoot weddings around the world, and we love the adventure.

How can we book your services for our wedding? How far in advance should we do it?

Please contact us using the contact form. If we’re available on your date, we’ll send you all the pricing and service details. To book your date, we require a 25% deposit of the total amount. On average, our bookings are made about a year before the wedding day.

Why should I choose a photo + video package over just photography or videography?

Most couples choose our photo + video package because our approach to photography and videography works seamlessly together, creating a consistent and cohesive story — which is reflected in our portfolio. If you already have another photographer or videographer in mind, don’t worry! We’re used to collaborating with other professionals, many of whom have become personal friends.
