Romantic couple staring at each other in wooden dock

F.A.Q.s

What’s your approach on the wedding day?

The wedding day is a gathering of your friends and relatives and we see it as a great opportunity to capture the everyday things, the real bonds, the way you connect with your loved ones, those sweet things that aren’t unique on this day and you’ll want to remember forever. An important part of our work is having the sensitivity to understand what’s really important for you – not only in the present but specially in the future – and document it with beautiful images that can make you bring back in time.

Do we have to do some effort to look good on the camera?

During the day, we will do everything to make you feel comfortable. Don’t worry, we won’t ask you to do anything besides having fun, be yourselves and enjoy the most on your wedding day.

What’s better for my wedding: One or two photographers?

If you’re having less than 90 guests, we strongly recommend to have one photographer/videographer. We like to be part of the wedding and we do believe that with less professionals it is easier to fit on it, get to know the people and become part of the group. We focus our main attention on the couple and their closest guests and family so the guests with minor connection with the bride and groom will be the ones we’ll be paying less attention.

If you’re expecting more than 150 guests, a second photographer can be advised so we can capture more moments and situations between guests.

Do you make family and bridal party portraits?

Yes we do. Usually bridesmaid or best man are in charge of having a list of the groups to be photographed so they help us get everyone together.  If you want to do a big group photo with all the guests, let us know in advance so we can arrange the best time and place to do it.

If you aren’t interested on this photos, we highly recommend to take informal portraits with just your dearest relatives. (foto da velha e da gisela)

How do you organize timings and details for the wedding day? Do you shoot both bride and groom preparation?

Less than a month before the wedding we send you a form with all details we need to know for the whole day, such as locations, timings, contacts and special requests. We analyze that information and send you our feedback about how we pretend to approach the wedding day, so we can cover all the major moments, including both bride and groom preparations.

How do you chose the music for the videos? Can we suggest some?

We always give a lot of attention to the kind of music that we listen on your wedding so we can apply that specific mood on your videos. For some scenes, we use some of the songs you chose for particular moments of the wedding (ceremony, first dance, cutting of the cake) and for other moments we like to surprise you with other amazing songs.

Your musical suggestions are very appreciated and we will take that in consideration, however, in order to create the most amazing videos, we can only use them if they fit perfectly on the mood of the film. You can trust us.

What’s an engagement session?

That’s an hour photoshoot done before the wedding day in a cool location chosen together between you and us, representing something about you. It can be a walk in a beautiful forest or having drinks in a bar, whatever feels more comfortable for you and what really express yourselves.

Can we use photos from the engagement session as wedding invitation card?

Of course. We send you some edited photos after the session so you can use them as wedding invitation cards. Check here some of our engagement photos:  (Link)

Will we have time to take some couple portraits during the wedding?

On the wedding day we ask you to spend 15 minutes with us on the venue to take some awesome portraits similar to the engagement session photos. We usually do it when you’re waiting for the guests to find their tables for dinner.

How long do we have to wait to receive the photos and wedding videos?

We send you 30 fully edited photos in the week after the wedding, so you can use them as “thank you” cards, share them on social media, etc… For the full delivery, our contracted deadlines are up to 90 days for wedding photos and 180 days for videos, however, depending on our workflow, the timings can be shorter. Since we want to make memories that last and become intemporal, we don’t rush on editing timing.

I hate posed photos, is that a problem?

Absolutely not! We want you to have fun and enjoy the day, we know how to make you feel comfortable and make awesome shots at the same time, trust us 😉

Do you use Drone?

We really want to deliver the best memories as possible and some aerial shots can be very exciting to contex the place of the wedding. However, on quiet and intimate moments, such as the ceremony we don’t fly drones, mainly because is a noisy device and it’s a moment to capture the emotions from a closer point of view, not from the sky.

Would you travel outside Portugal do shoot a wedding?

Yes, of course. We travel quite often to shoot weddings all over the world and we love it.

How can we book your services for our wedding? How long in advance should we do it?

Please contact us using the contact form. If we’re available for your date, we send you all pricing and conditions for our services. For the reservation we ask for a first payment of 25% of the total amount. In average, our bookings are made a year before the wedding day.

Why should i pick a photo+video package over a single photo or video?

Most of the weddings we shoot have photo+video package. Our approach in both photography and wedding video work perfectly together and that is reflected on the consistency of our portfolio. If you have other photographer/videographer in mind, don’t worry, we are also used to work with different people, and most of them are actually our personal friends.
